Polaris RIB’s are designed for both open and enclosed water conditions. RIB’s are generally lighter and more maneuverable than conventional craft. Their lighter displacement allows greater speed and ease of handling.

Contender - Professional

  • The aluminum hulled Contender Series Rib is available in 17’6, 18’6 and 19’6 lengths. Each Contender has clear inside deck width of 4’6” (54”) with an overall width (or beam) of 7’10” (94”)
  • The design and specifications are placed in-between those of the the Neptune and the Spirit
  • Propulsion may be inboard or outboard, and be propelled with jet or propeller drives
  • A wide range of underside skid plates and reinforcements are available for shallow water usage
  • The Contenders can be outfitted to your specific needs from an extensive choice of options
  • The floatation collar (or tube set) diameter is a 20” tapered tube with 5 separate air chambers. For ease of field service, the tubeset is mechanically attached and removable
  • Commercial uses Polaris Contender series boats include scuba diving, film, river rescue, fishing, transport, research, patrol, guiding, etc.

Seamaster - Professional

  • Deeper ‘V’ shaped fiberglass hull for wave comfort and a smaller tube diameter than most other Polaris small boat designs
  • Available in 12’6, 14’6 and 16’6 with fiberglass hull only. The tubeset is 18” in diameter with 4 – 5 separate air chambers (depending on length). The inside deck width is 42” for an overall width of 6’6
  • Wide base for stability, full flat deck and blunt bow results in a note-worthy amount of usable deck space. The Seamaster was designed to be a reliable and stable work platform
  • The standard Seamaster comes complete with wide protective overlays and tracking strips which are bonded onto the underside of the floatation collar. The tube set is double sealed to the hull to ensure utmost long term dependability
  • As of 2016, the Seamaster series boats have been in production for 28 years. The Seamaster is also built as both; a Transport Canada certified Emergency boat and as 5 meter SOLAS Approved and Certified Rescue boat which includes a self-righting system

Neptune - Professional

  • The standard inflatable tubeset is 24” in diameter
  • Available with foam filled tubeset or foam filled ‘D’ shaped tubeset

  • Engineered and over- built for adverse or unexpected conditions
  • Aluminum hull design offers maximum internal deck space for the overall length
  • Neptune tubeset do not touch the water when the vessels are at standstill
  • Decks are located above the waterline and are thus self – draining
  • All deck areas are clear of clutter and engine or drive related hardware
  • All cables and control cables are quickly serviceable but routed below deck

  • A strong, durable and highly serviceable tubeset made from Neoprene Hypalon rubber (not PVC or Vinyl). The construction fabric and assembly methods are used for the construction of certified Rescue Boats

  • A strong, durable and highly serviceable tubeset made from Neoprene Hypalon rubber (not PVC or Vinyl). The construction fabric and assembly methods are used for the construction of certified Rescue Boats.
