Capacity
- the approved rated capacity of the Polaris Rescueboat is 9 persons. This allows for a greater margin of safety when compared to most other boats of the same size.

|
Method of Affixing Inflatable collar to hull
- The Polaris Rescueboat provides inboard/outboard sealed retainers. The collar is also sealed to both sides of the transom. Other methods allow for debris to deposit between the inflatable collar and the fiberglass hull which can cause premature wear and puncture.

Keel Shoe
- The Polaris Rescueboat is fitted with a high density nylon keel shoe. The advantages to this system are that it is resilient on impact and therefor less likely to cause structural damage. This protective shoe is kinder to ships railings and decking. It is simple to replace and is cost effective.

|
Cone end protection
- As launching, retrieving, debris or obstacles may sometimes cause the aft end of the boat to be the area of first contact, Polaris overlays the entire surface with an extra protective skin.
|
|
Tracking strip overlays
- These small additions provide substantially increased maneuvering capability at both low and high speeds. We consider that precise maneuvering in adverse conditions is an essential element to a rescue operation and that as a single element it may be considered as vital. Polaris Rescueboats are supplied with tracking strips as standard.

Tow Post (optional)
- Polaris provides a unique heavy duty integral system for quick assembly / disassembly. Most existing systems mean more clutter and are lighter duty with more parts to use or loose.

|
Fuel system (optional)
- The Polaris below console seating fuel system eliminates deck clutter and provides more space for operations.
